Home-made Resources

A couple of weeks ago at the Materials Bank they had lots of pieces of MDF wood so I grabbed a few.
The round ones I painted with acrylic paint and made into geo-boards.  I had made these previously out of tree stumps for outside and they proved to be very popular with the children.

One of the rectangular pieces I made into a padlock  board.  I thought the children might enjoy this knowing how obsessed they can be with keys!

Well they have been played with but I wouldn't say the children were fighting over them.  And with a total cost of under £10 I can't really complain. I suspect the padlocks would be more popular if the children could choose where they attached them to!
