After graduating from high school, she moved first to France, and later to New York to pursue modeling full time. She has appeared in such magazines as Elle Girl and Teen Vogue. This is Julie's third appearance in the Swimsuit Issue.

Jessica moved to Paris and did shows for Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta and others. She has appeared in Harper's Bazaar, Teen Vogue and Vogue Italia and in campaigns for Cover Girl, Maybelline, Chloe and Gap. She's the first African-American model to appear in six Swimsuit Issues.
